Design Home 2004 is a promising collaboration of builder Jeff Wassenaar of Legacy Homes and architect Wayne Visbeen of Visbeen Associates, Inc. as they intrigue us with design characteristics of the early 20th century that were popular along the Northeastern coast.

Visbeen’s imaginative details give Design Home a special quality: the Shingle-style exterior, the Stair Tower to the Master Suite, the Inglenook with fireplace, and Swing Spaces providing myriad uses.

Design Coordinator Polly Timmer bathes Design Home in a warm combination of painted and stained finishes that transports the owner from the "then" to the "now."

Design Home 2004 will be open to public tours September 10 through September 19, 2004. Tickets are $25 and $12 and can be purchased through Habitat for Humanity. All tour ticket proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity and their pursuit of providing affordable housing for the less fortunate.

Tour Dates & Ticket Sales

One hundred percent (100%) of the proceeds generated through the sale of tickets to tour Design Home 2004 go to Habitat for Humanity. Tour dates are September 10 through September 19, 2004. The V.I.P. reception and tour is Friday, September 10 and includes hors devours and refreshments and a chance to meet the many sponsors.

Tour tickets can be purchased at Habitat for Humanity or at the door. The V.I.P. reception is $25. General Admission tickets are $12.
